"When I was a young child, my Dad served in the Navy and was stationed in Japan. He brought home some beautiful silk pajamas for me which I recently rediscovered some 40 years later. They are blue silk with an all over pattern of elegant embroidered white roses. Rediscovering those pajamas, brought back wonderful memories of my Dad who has long since passed. That is what inspired this rose pattern. Notice the rose design runs diagonally."
