Varanasi – Canvas Spice:
Large-scale botanical pattern inspired by historic Tree of Life motifs and traditional European Jacobean crewelwork. A winding network of thick, woody branches meanders across the composition, bearing an exotic abundance of multi-petaled blossoms, pointed flower buds, and highly detailed, serrated foliage like oak and acanthus leaves. Meticulous line-shading and fine decorative dots fill the interior of each flower and leaf, giving the design an authentic, archival hand-embroidered or block-printed character.
The warm, inviting "Spice" colorway sets this dense arrangement against a clean, natural light-cream canvas background. The design is brought to life by an autumnal palette of terracotta-red, burnt orange, golden ochre, and warm khaki-tan blossoms, beautifully grounded by deep chocolate brown and olive green stems and leaves to deliver a refined rustic appeal with a rich historic patina.
