Rosen II: Port Blush
This pattern is my take on a timeworn floral—meant to feel like it could’ve been lifted from a well-loved tapestry. I painted these flowers loosely with sketch-like contours, while the texture underneath mimics the irregularity of woven cloth. For this colorway, I wanted to play with tone-on-tone layering to let the floral emerge softly, like it’s been worn in by time. The mauve-gray floral sits gently over the maroon ground, creating just enough contrast to define the pattern without disrupting the overall feel of the design
