This pattern began as an exploration of the teardrop shape. I experimented with the motif in different directions and arrangements until the composition felt balanced. The irregular spacing creates an unexpected rhythm throughout the design, giving the geometric pattern subtle interest.

My intention for this design was to create a versatile coordinating pattern that could layer effortlessly alongside the larger-scale H. Lively prints. The soft flax colorway was chosen intentionally to keep the pattern adaptable, allowing it to complement a wide range of palettes and design schemes.
