Zachary: Green
This design began with a vintage carved wood textile block I found while thrifting a few years ago. Through this design, I wanted to honor the history of the tool—its marks, its symmetry, its imperfections. The small-scale repeat is structured and geometric, yet softened by the hand-stamped texture. It evokes a feeling of old-world craftsmanship while still sitting comfortably in modern spaces. Designing with a mix of old and new is what I love most, and this pattern gave me the perfect place to explore that contrast.
